Business Boost success for Science Park tenants
1 December 2016
There was success for a number of Keele University Science and Innovation Park tenants at the 2016 Business Boost awards.
More Than Just Design, located in the Nova Centre, won the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, whilst Home Farm-based Poole Dick Associates scooped the Going for Growth Award.
Secret Attic Software, also based in the Nova Centre, was pipped to the Innovation Award by former KUSIP tenant Heimdall Protective Tech.
Speaking about their win, More Than Just Design’s Dave Purkiss said: “The Business Boost Awards have been a great experience from start to finish. Throughout the process we have been able to consider and review the growth and success of the company as well as analyse our approach and how we assist our clients to reach their desired audience in a creative and effective manner.
“To win the category that we were placed in is a real privilege and one that, as a team, we are proud to have achieved. The award’s prize money is a total boost and will accelerate the purchase of a 3D Printer which will assist us to engage with our clients further as well as develop our product offering.”
Secret Attic’s David White added: “It was great to reach the finals of the Business Boost Awards and to be recognised as a truly innovative developer of products such as Big Red Arrow and Oliver Twist.”
