Innovation Centre 5
IC5 is the fifth innovation centre to be built at Keele University Science and Business Park.

The three-storey building (located on plot 6) will offer 30,000 sq ft of Grade A office and workshop space, which can be tailored to meet tenants’ specific requirements. There will be parking for 96 cars and links to local bus, cycle and footpath routes.
We are currently assessing ways in which to minimise IC5’s long-term impact on the environment by reducing energy consumption and enabling the building to produce its own power and heating. As a result, we are planning to install
an air-source heat recovery system on the roof that extracts heat from outdoors for use in the shared areas inside the building. We are also investigating the possibility of installing solar photovoltaic panels on the roof.
Aimed at high-technology businesses, IC5 will be located on a landscaped 70-acre development site at KUSBP, which consists of a further 12 available plots totalling 36 acres.
